Long time, no write ...sad times. But let me tell you about my birthday spent with Den in Cali ^_^
On Friday before my burfday, Den allowed me to open my gifts (since we were heading out to LA for the weekend and I was pestering him like madddd crazy). We then went into the city to get dinner and karaoke with some friends. But who cares about that...let's get to the gifts!!!!
Amazinggg gifts I got from my lovely boo. He got it all nice and purdy for me to rip my claws into. Pretty much the two things I am obsessed with are my Kindle and Nintendo 3DS. Reading like a madman now - who knew I needed one!? Also 1. I don't have to carry the book/s around while I go to work or wait at places and 2. I don't have to be embarrassed by what books I'm reading (currently young adult fiction...HEYYY!). Also I need to get like more 3DS games ASAP, been playing Animal Crossing which is like The Sims but BETTAR!!
Onward to the next day, we drove down to Los Angeles to a two-day concert that was so much fun! It included artists like Deadmaus, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, and dozen others. We met up with his coworker and friends and had a blast dancing our asses off near Chinatown LA. We also tried AirBnb and it was great! The prices were so much better than the hotel ones. As well it was in Koreatown so Den and I definitely had our fill of Korean BBQ and shops.
But dancing pretty much nonstop from Saturday night and Sunday night, took its toll on us when we had to drive back up on Monday. X_X DEAD! It was a nice amid boring ride but so worth it! We got home in time to welcome Alex and his friend to our apartment since they were on their own little adventure. They only stayed the night but Alex would soon return the following week. Alex, also the best of the best friends, got me a lovely Kate Spade tote that was so beautiful and ultra ultra gold!! I was surprised that he got it for me since I wasn't expecting it :)
So all in all, my birthday was great! It was spent with the love of my life. It was hecka kind of sad not to spend with my family but the texts and phone calls sure made it better <3
